Satin Plazcast PMMA sheets can have a satin finish on one or both sides and they can be opal or colored. The surface of the sheets is resistant to scratches and maintains its satiny appearance even after thermoforming. In addition, the surface of the sheet does not allow the appearance of fingerprints when touched.
Satin Plazcast PMMA sheets can be used in both indoor and outdoor applications and they fit for applications where a material with excellent resistance to weathering and aging is required. These sheets are usually used to make illuminated advertising signage, light boxes, volumetric letters, etc. On the market these sheets are also distributed under the trade names of: Altuglas, Akrylon, Stiplex or Plexiglas.
