PP-HKP/PE-HKP TwinWall – Plastic Panels

They are panels with a cellular structure made of polyethylene or polypropylene.

These panels are produced in two variants: HKP-LR (Lenghthways-ribbed), with unidirectional ribs and HKP-CR (Cross-ribbed), with bidirectional ribs.

Both models of plastic panels have a very high rigidity, a low weight and offer good thermal insulation. In addition, these panels can be easily processed and handled. Following tests performed by the panel manufacturer, SIMONA AG, it was determined that the HKP-CR panels have a rigidity comparable to a 35 mm solid sheet.

Tanks, scrubbers (gas scrubbers with water jet), partitions, pontoons, etc. can be made from PP-HKP/PE-HKP TwinWall. Tanks made of this type of panels do not require metal reinforcements.

HKP PE polyethylene plastic panels are made of black PE 100, while PP HKP panels are made of AlphaPlus PP-H, PP-C or PPs. Each panel will have the mechanical and thermal characteristics related to the material from which it is made.

HKP-LR TwinWall panels are produced in the following sizes and from the following materials:

Length (L)= 3000 mm
Width (B)= 1000 mm
Total thickness (H) = 54 mm or 58 mm
Exterior wall thickness (h)= 6 mm or 8 mm
Cell spacing (s)= 54 mm or 108 mm

These panels are made of black PE 100, AlphaPlus PP-H and PPs.

HKP-CR TwinWall panels are produced in the following sizes and from the following materials:

Length (L)= 3000 mm
Width (B)= 1000 mm
Total thickness (H) = 40 mm
Exterior wall thickness (h)= 6 mm
Cell spacing (s)= 50 mm

This type of panel is made of black PE 100 and PP-C.

Welding accessories

We provide the following accessories:
– butt-welding connector, with the size of 2000x50x39 mm
– corners of 45 degrees with the following sizes: height of 1500 or 3000 mm, leg length of 318 mm; total thickness of 54 or 58 mm; outer walls thickness of 6 or 8 mm and cell spacing of 54 or 108 mm
– corners of 90 degrees with the following sizes: height of 1500 or 3000 mm, leg length of 490 mm; total thickness of 54 or 58 mm; outer walls thickness of 6 or 8 mm and cell spacing of 54 or 108 mm

Benefits of the panel structure
