Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic material that has a unique combination of mechanical, chemical and thermal characteristics, making this material usable in special applications where other technical plastics cannot withstand. It can be delivered in the form of extruded sheets or bars.

PEEK semi-finished products have exceptional tribological properties, high mechanical strength and excellent chemical resistance even at continuous working temperatures of +260°C. Thus, it is recommended in all applications where the working temperature is very high and the mechanical and chemical loads are considerable.

PEEK semi-finished products burn with very low emissions of smoke and toxic gases and have fire class UL 94 V-0 (self-extinguishing after the fire source is removed).

PEEK is used in nuclear technologies, aerospace industry, mechanical and automotive engineering, semiconductor production, electronics and electrical industry, wire and cable production, chemical and petrochemical industry.

It is approved for food contact.

PEEK is also available in black color, hence being protected against the action of UV rays.

In order to be able to make different finished products, PEEK semi-finished products undergo certain machining, such as drilling, turning, milling, cutting, threading, etc.
