Acrylic tubes can be obtained by two different processes: by extrusion or by casting. Depending on the production process used, certain necessary properties and characteristics are obtained. In your project, clear tubes can be delivered as standard, but satin tubes can be delivered on request.

Use acrylic tubes to present your products. With them, attract the attention and interest of visitors wherever you put them! Whether you want to produce advertising signs, displays, exhibition objects or display boxes for different products, the brightness, gloss and transparency of acrylic tubes will draw the attention of all customers to the advertising message you want to convey.

Extruded acrylic tubes are semi-finished products produced by polymerization and then by extrusion. The resulting tubes are very transparent and have very glossy surfaces. In general, extruded acrylic tubes are resistant to environmental conditions and aging.

Cast acrylic tubes are actually cast in one piece and polished individually. The result is an acrylic tube of excellent transparency and quality. Of course, cast tubes are more expensive than extruded tubes, but cast acrylic tubes can be drilled and machined without melting, and have a much wider working temperature range. They are much more resistant to external factors, aging, different efforts and are resistant to some weaker chemicals that extruded acrylic tubes cannot withstand.

To make a finished product from acrylic tubes, by gluing or other mechanical operations, we recommend using only cast acrylic tubes. Thus, the exceptional quality of the finished product is guaranteed!

Acrylic Sheets Standard Sizes (Plexiglass)

Extruded acrylic tubes can be produced with a minimum outer diameter of 8 mm and a maximum outer diameter of 300 mm.
Extruded acrylic tubes are delivered in lengths of 2000 mm for diameters less than 40x36mm and 2050mm for diameters greater than 40x36mm.
Cast acrylic tubes can be produced with a minimum outer diameter of 300 mm and a maximum outer diameter of 500 mm.
Cast acrylic tubes are delivered with standard lengths of 1000 mm, 2030 mm, 2050 mm, 2160 mm or 2180 mm, depending on the diameter of the tube.

Benefits and applications

Applications of acrylic tubes:

Acrylic tubes can be used in a wide range of applications:
decoration of exhibition stands or commercial shops
different advertising displays
protective lids for electronic control components
transparent pipes for controlling the level of liquid in different tanks
architectural applications: handles for railings, balconies, museum applications, etc.
jewelry displays
diffusers for different lighting fixtures
desks for television studios
aquarium production

Similarities between extruded and cast acrylic tubes:

both types of tubes are perfectly transparent
exceptional resistance to aging and environmental factors
easy to glue, even with solvent-based adhesives
easy to thermoform.

Differences between extruded and cast acrylic tubes

1. Extruded tubes have good quality surfaces/Cast tubes have very good quality surfaces.

2. Extruded tubes have good breaking strength/Cast tubes have very high breaking strength.

3. Extruded tubes have good chemical resistance/Cast tubes have very good chemical resistance.

4. Extruded tubes can be cut/Cast tubes can be cut, drilled and machined without damaging the material.

5. The maximum working temperature for extruded tubes is 70°C/The maximum working temperature for cast tubes is 80°C.

6. Extruded tubes are produced up to a maximum outer diameter of 300 mm/Cast tubes are produced up to a maximum diameter of 500 mm.
